eral Meeting of China Provident Loan and Mortgage Company, Limited, will be held at the offices of Messrs. Shewan, Tomes und Company, the General Managers of the said Company on Wednes day, the 23rd day of September, 1925, at 11 o'clock in the fore- noon, when the subjcined Revolu- tions will be proposed as Biura- ordinary Resolutions:-- (1) That the authorised capital of the Company (which is now $6,000,000 consisting of 600,000 shares of the nominal value of $10 each of which 508,247 have been issued) be Increased to $7,500,000 by the creation of 150,000 addi. tional shares of the nomingl value of $10 each ranking (subject as hereinafter men- Lioned) for dividend and in all other respects pari paARU with the shares constituting the Company's present issued capital.

That it is desirable to effect an amalgamation of the Com- pany with the Hongkong Tug and Lighter Company, Limited, and that according- ly (subject to the approval of a Special Resolution of the. shareholders of that Com- pany but not otherwise) the draft Agreement aubmitted to this meeting and express- ed to be made between that Company and its Liquidator of the one part and this Com- pany of the other part be hereby approved and that the General Managers of this Company be authorised pur- suant to Section 185 of the Companies Ordinance 1911 to enter into an Agreement with that Company and its Liquidator in the terms of the said draft and to carry the same into effect with such (if any) modifications as they think expedient. (3) That the General Managers be at liberty to allot to the Liquidator of the Hongkong Tug and Lighter, Company, Limited, or hia nominees three of the $10 shares of this Company (credited as fully paid up) in respect of every five of the issued $10 shares in that Company credited as paid up to the ex- tent of $6) and also for the convenience of the said Liquidator to issue such, fractional certificates as the aäid Liquidator shall think necessary or desirable to en- able him to divide the said shares in this Company in due proportions among the 'persona, entitled to them. (4) That the aliares so allotted to the nominees of the Liquida- tor of the tiongkong Tug and Lighter Company, Limited, shall rank for dividend and, bonus as from the 1st day of
