tion, published over the signature of the energetic and popular Hon. Secretary, Mr. W. E. Hollands, who has played no mean part in fostering Association football here, it will be agreed that the management of the game is in excellent hands. It is evident. that Mr. Hollands has received the whole-hearted support of a Council of enthusiasts. Indeed, it is something of a record to And that whilst the Council met seven times during the season. only on two occasions was one member absent. It is this spirit that keeps the flag dying and welds the vurious Clubs and their delegates together in the best Interests of the game.

The accounts for the year show a satisfactory balance in hand, and the thanks of the Association players who by their unselfish efforts have made it possible for the Association to divide amongst charities no less than $2,106.05.

The competitions during the past season were undoubtedly keener than for

some years past, and no doubt it was this encouraging factor that led to the presentation of two exty Cups-- the "Sunday Herald" Cup and the "Lai Wah" Cup. The former was donated for the purpose of charity and resulted in a truly magni ficent aum being raised, as may be remembered from the figures published along with the Com- mittee's' report. Altogether the Association was able to divide no less than $2.106.05 amongst charities during the past senson.

The finances of the Association are in a flourishing condition, from which it is evident that there has been excellent manage- ment in the background. There are few Football Associations Te Registration of Play. that can boast of a balance of ers' Fees ....
