Over 200 Dative Priests are helping the European Fathers; 50 Spanish and Filipino Sisters are in charge of the Colleges in Taipeh, Foochow and Matsuyama, and there are seven orphanages in the Province of Fukien and one in Formosa The girls received in those eight orphanages average 7,000 a year Another three to four thousand are received in the Orphanages of Tonkin in charge of the Native Sisters belonging to the third Order of St. Dominid.
