The same facilities for bathing are to be offered to the public as were provided last year. This, the China Mail, understands, is the decision of the Government. Kennedy Town beach and Stone- cutters beach will be opened as soon as the arrangements can be. completed.

beaches in connection with the provision of cubicles and the usual facilities will not be completed until later than usual, and May 15 has been fixed as the opening day. North Point beach, work on which has been progressing for Pt. Cleveland, (Amr.) P. M. s.s.some weeks, will be opened on
