The tide table given below has been compiled at the National Almanac Office in London from the result of the analysis of observations taken by means of an automatic tide-recording machine

during

the years 1908-8 the Water Police Basin at Taira Sha The zero of the table corresponds with the zere of the sounding in the Ad- miralty Chart, which has been found to be 4 feet 8 inches below mean sea-level To obtain the depth of water on the tide gauge at the Victoria Nayal Yard add 3 feet 4 inches, and on the gauge et Lamont Dock, Aberdeen, addTM 10 ̈fesi 4 inches to the height given in the table.
