In Division I. the winners were the H.K.C.C., the Civil Service, and the Royal Artillery. In Division II. the Indians again prevailed, and friendly matches were won by the Kowloon Cricket Club and the Civil Service second eleven:

Good scoring by the University. first eleven (157) was countered by even better on the part of the Civil Service, who scored 161 runs for five wickets. The play was interesting throughout, but the Civil Service well merited their big victory.
Thanks to a century by Major Hattersley-Smith, and fine bow ing by Clayton, ably supported by Henslowe and Smith, the Royal; Artillery easily put paid to the Chinese Recreation account, the latter responding with a feeble 58, of which Ng. Sze-kwong had scored 25 when
he was run out.

The Civil Service C. C., who had. to abandon their First Division League match with the University on the previous casion owing, to rain, travelled to Pokfulam and re- turned with a runaway victory, having beaten their opponents by five wickets.
