HONGKONG TIDE.

The tide-table given' below has been complied at the National Almanac Ome in London from the. reant of the analysis of observations taken by means of an automatic tide-recording machine in the Water Polica Basin at Taim Sha Teal daring the years. 1908-9.

The sero of the table, corresponds with the sero of the sounding in the Ad- Hmiralty-Chart, which-has-been-found-to- be 4 feet 8 inches below mean sea-level. To obtain the depth of water on the tide gauge at the Victoria Naval Yard add 8 feet 4 inches, and on the gange at Lamont Dock, Aberdeen, såd 10 feet 4 inches to the height given in the table..
