In his violin solos, Metsa held the audience spell-bound with Schubert's "Ave Maria." "Zapa- teado (Sarasate). Kreisler's famous Caprice Veinnois and Bazzini's Rondo In the final movement for violin and piano- forte, (Cesar Franck's Sonata), Melsa and Miss Dorothy Dawson Campbell brought the house down. As with the other items, the audience called for more.

Miss Dorothy Dawson Camp- bell earned well deserved applause for her interpretation of Chopin's Scherzo in B Flat Minor Amongst other numbers she gave a Spanish Dance, and had to up pense the audience over and over again with items outside the programme.

:

The art of Mr. Percival Garratt as an accompanist must not be left unmentioned. Although no individual items were rendered by him, he completed the quartette which can justly claim to be world renowned.

of virtue and charm. He trusted that the bridegroom would bestow on her the affection which she had always received from her parents. One word of advice he would offer to the bride that sho should try to follow in the footsteps of her.| illustrious mother.
