How would you like to have one of the most famous artists in America suggesting ideas for your costumes, one of the cleverest designers in New York City doing | the actual work of designing and one of the most exclusive, Fifth Avenue houses making them? Such was the good fortune of Marion Davies, star in the great Cosmopolitan Paramount produc- | ■ tion" When Knighthood Was in Flower. Acting on ideas sug- gested by Joseph. Urban, noted artist, a skilled designer created costumes for Miss Davies' which surpass anything heretofore seen on the screen. Miss Davies, as Princess Mary Tudor, wears fifteen different gowns aud cach gown has its own set of specially designed jewellery. One of these Cost many thousands of dollars. It speaks for itself.

For his inspiration Joseph Urban drew upon his own store of i knowledge and European courts, adroitly adapting the stiff costumes to the youth and beauty of the star. There are sweeping trains, glitter- ing head dresses, softly plumed hats, gowns of satins "and silks, velvet and cloth of silver and gold encrusted with gems and carried out in a harmonious colour scheme which only an artist could devise. It took three big studios to film When Knighthood Was in Flower" which is showing at the Coronet Theatre to-day. No pains or expense were spared to make the picture one of the finest ever seen on the screen. Robert G. Vignola directed.

The cast assembled in support of Miss Davies is a most, notable one and includes such well known players as Lyn Harding. Forrest Stanley, Ernest Glendenning, Ruth Shepley, Theresa Conover Maxwell and Macey Harlan,
