TOURIST SEASON,

BIGGEST LINER COMING TO HONGKONG.

The first tourist vessel to arrive in Hongkong for the season 'will be the "Belgenland" on January 31. This vessel is at present in Kobe, and will arrive in Shanghai on January 27, leaving for Hong- kong on the afternoon of the following day.

"The Beigenland," which is the biggest liner that has yet made a world cruise, is controlled on the present trip by the American Express Company. There are 440 tourists on board. The steamers "Sal Oa" and "Leung- shan" have been chartered to take the visitors to Canton on the night| of January 31. So far 135 have booked for this trip.

Owing to her excessive length, the vessel will moor head and stern to buoys in mid-stream.
