London, January 9. The newspapers continue to give prominence to the question of the high prices of tea.

A leading tea firm states that the increase in imports for the twelve months ended November 90 last by. 61,260,000 lbs. was chiefly due to the crops coming Soers bai Soerakarta (Solo) forward much more quickly than usual and a corresponding falling off may be expected later, say, from April to June.
