DISTRIBUTION OF PRIZES YESTERDAY.

„A large gathering assembled at the, Peak Club yesterday evening to witness the distribution

prizes to the pupils of the Peak School by Lady Severn.

The prize distribution was pro ceded by a thoroughly enjoyable entertainment by the pupils. The programme comprised recitations in English and French, dances, and a French playlet entitled "Les Poulpicans." A fan dance
