The monthly report of the Federal Reserve Board announces an increase of 9 per cent. in the production of basic commodities, which is the first advance since January. Factory employment has increased 10 per cent; wages have slightly improved; crops generally are better; railroad shipments have increased; the wholesale trade is up. II per cent.
