The tids-table"given below has beas | compiled at the National Almanac Offics in London from the result of the analysis of observations taken by means. of an automatic tide-recording machina in the Water Police Basin at Tatni Sha Taul. during the years 1903-8.
The zero of the table corresponda withy the zero of the sounding in the Ad- miralty Chart, which has been found to be fast 8 inches below mean sea-level
To obtain the depth of water on the tide gauge at the Victoria Naval Yard add 8 feet 4 inches, and så the gauge at Lamont Dock, Aberdeen, add 10, fest, 4 Inches to the height given in the table.
