HONGKONG TIDE.
The tide-table given below has bean compiled at the National Almanac Once In London. from the reralt of the analysis of observations taken by means of an automatic tide-recording machine in the Water Police Basin at Tsim Sha Taul ring the years 1908-0.
The zero of the table corresponds with the zero of the sounding in the Ad- mtraity Chart, which has been found to be 4 feet 8 inches below mean sea-level.
To obtain the depth of water on the tide gauge at the Victoria Naval Yard add 8 feet 4 inches, and on the gauge at Lamont Dock, Aberdean, add 10 feet 4 inches to the height given in the table
September 29 to October 5, 1924.
