SANITARY BOARD MEETING. --
SEARCHING QUESTIONS PUT BEFORE MEETING BY DR. KOCH.
DR. PEARSE HOLDS TO HIS OPINION.
The fortnightly meeting of the Sanitary Board was held yester- day under the chairmanship of Mr. N. L. Smith. There were also present: Dr. Koch, Dr. Ozorio, Mr. C. G. Alabaster, K.C., Mr. S. W. Tao. Mr. Wong Kwong-tin, Dr. W. W. Pearse (Medical Officer of Health) and the Secretary (Mr. G. S. Kennedy-Skipton),
Important queations with regard to anti-rabic emulsion, the Colony's water supply and typhoid fever were asked by Dr. W. F. M. Koch. The first query was:

The Chairman: It is well-known, of course, that water is not the concern of this Board. It has been said a great many times before. do not know whether the Medical Officer of Health is inclined to make any statement upon the subject.
