The China Far East Section of the Manchester Chamber of Commerce are fully satisfied with Government's China Indemnity Bill as amended in Committee.. The Bill now provides that the indemnity shall be used for educational or other purposes, which the Foreign Secretary, after consulting the Advisory Committee, decides will be beneficial to the mutual interests of Britain and. China.
The Advisory Committee, will consist of ten persons, of whom at least one will be a woman and at least one a citizen of the Republic of China,
HOPES OF MANCHESTER. Firms in Manchester engaged in the China Trade hope that a representative of the Man- chester Chamber of Commerce will be appointed a member of the Committee. They also hope the B will now be passed as speedily as possible.

London, July.18. The Spanish Embassy declares that the report of a Spanish reverse in Morocco is false.
It says news has been received from Madrid that an incursion of Riffs into the territory of the Comars tribe was repulsed, over 400 of the enemy -being killed.
General Primo de Rivera's progress through the western sector of the Spanish zone has been most successful.
