Although he has only been back in England a few weeks after spen- ding years in the Arctic regions of North-West Canada, Mr. John Homby, son of Mr. A. N. Horoby, and brother of Mr. A.. H. Hornby, the Lancashire cricketer, decided that he would retum.
Mr. Homby told a Daily Mail, reporter just before he sailed that he was going to do some research work for the Canadian Govern- ment."I first went to Canada in 1900, and have spent little time in civilised places." I shall have to do nearly 1,000 miles by canoe."
