OUR AIRMEN.
Strange though it may seem air pilots as a rule prefer night-flying to flying by day.
A pilot, writing to the Daily Mail says the chief reason for this is the better climate conditions at night. As a general rule, there is considerably less wind after sun- set, while the upward and down- ward air currents caused by at the 1emperature variations earth's surface are almost entirely absent, conditions which materially improve the pleasure of flying.
