SHOT FOR BEING HAPPY DJ. W. Anderson, Capt. də U. Larja-
Mr H. O. Andersoa que
A tragic tale comes from Italy, T. O. Altkea Mrs M. O. Liddell
Mr G. A. Arbogasy Mias H. Lillie
it is recounted in the Roman paper w.. Axerood Mr W. J. Lim Corriere Italiano-of a hapless man Mr and Mrs. H. Mr and Mrs. being killed because his utter hap Bothell
Lauriston piness offended a brute.
Young Ferdinando Gailli, who lived in a village near Castiglion Fiorentino, was married three, weeks ago to a charming girl of the district. Their short honey- moon had ended and the two had returned, blissfully content, to their native place.
On a Tuesday evening he and his wife had gone for a stroll with his slåter. It was a lovely evening, and the young couple walked arm in arm, so happy that he and she would every now and then break into little peals of laughter, born of nothing very much but their: satisfaction with life.
All of a sudden three cyclists came round a corner of the road, just as the three people were shake ing with laughter at some tiny jest. One of the cyclists called Salvietti, amorose sort of man, leapt from his machine at the sight, rushed at the astonished group and cried, "What do you mean by laughing like that?"
