LONDON, March 13.
In the House of Lords Earl Balfour asked for Information in regard to the Singapore naval, hase schenie and moved for the tabling of the papers.

NEW YORK, March 13. The District Attomey has filed a suit in the Federal Court demanding that the Government confiscate the "Orduria."
Subsequently a conference of Royal Mail officials and Government representatives agreed Orduna" under a $1,000,000 bond to release the so as to enable her to sail according to schedule on Saturday.

LONDON, March 14. In the House of Commons, moving the Army Estimates, Mr. Walsh, the Minister of War, explained that the Estimates had been pre- pared by the previous Government but he was satisfied they had been framed with due regard to economy and the needs of the country.

Reviewing the results of the occupation of the Ruhr, M. Poincaré in the Senate said the receipts for 1924 were estimated at four milliards of francs and the expenditure at one milliard, leaving three -milliards available for reparations.
M. Poincaré added that no one any longer dreamt of asking them to evacuate the Ruhr.
