LONDON, March 12. A joint committee representing mini employers and the Miners Federation again discussed the miners' wages demands.
The owners definitely offered to increase the minimum wage to thirty per cent above the 1914 rate and to revise the ratio of proceeds paid to wages and profits making the proportions 85 and A delegate conference of the 15 respectively. miners will be held to-morrow to consider the offer.
The demand of the Transport Workers' Union for an increase of wages for seven- teen thousand London tramwaymen to the extent of 8-a week was the subject of critical discussions in London to-day.

PARIS, March Iz. The Left. parties have decided that if the Government prorogue the Chamber of Deputies instead of having a general election all the Left Senators and Deputies will resign en bloc and submit their case to the country.

NEW YORK, March 12, Government agents have seized the Royal steamer "Ordana" on a charge of violation of the Customs, prohibition, and narcotic laws.
Eight persons have been arrested including the chief steward.
The affair is connected with the seizure of $10,000 worth of whisky and morphine alleged to have been landed by members of the crew.
