TESTIMONY.
Expert evidence as a recognised authority on handwriting was given by Mr. E. R. Dovey, the Government Analyst, to-day at the Supreme Court in the case a which the Tai Wo Company is suing the Bank of. East Asia for $72,665
The case is being heard before the Chief Justice (Sir William Rees Davies K. C.) and the follow ing special jury:-Messrs. T. E. Pearce (foreman), P. Teater, J. H. Seth, W. Nicholson, H. E. Parkin son, T. Arthur and J. McArthur.
Mr. F. C. Jenkin (instructed by Messrs. Lo and Lo) is appearing for the plaintiffs and the Bank is represented by Mr. Eldon Potter

Sir, I have followed the recent discussions reguling the question of the appointment of a new local Director of Education, with not a little interest.
