All of the twenty names given- were placed in fairly regular inter vals but nevertheless no competitor succeeded in giving the correct solution. There was no large dis- parity in the general run of the coupons but the slight differences here and there gradually separated the ten placed from the other ten. A few coupons had all the ten names appearing in the correct solution but where the voters went wrong in these cases was in assign- ing the individual names to wrong positions.
