WOMEN TERRORISED.
The Bank foot district of Bradford is being terrorised by "ghosts" that vanish mysteriously when ap proached.
Shrouded and cowled in' grey, the "ghosts" are intimidating all with brilliant, yellowy-grcou eyes,
but the most bold.
One man turned and gave chase. He raced at top speed close on their heels, but the "ghosts" entered a graveyard and vanished, so it seems into thin air!
Schoolchildren have been alarm. ed, and men are at their wits' end to. salve the mystery. Local polico- men and others who have funted the "ghosts" are baffled.
Freying mainly on women-two of whom are now suffering from shock-the "ghosts" continue to strike terror in the neighbourhood. One woman came face to face with one of the apparitions in an out- house near her home,
It leered at her and then wailed mournfully, waving grey-white arms. The woman fainted, and when she regained consciousness the "ghost" had vanished.
