As was expected, Saturday's match between teams representing the Navy and the Club resulted in
a fast even game.. Owen and Day! were absent from the advertised Club-side, necessitating the inclu- sion of Reid at centre three, Easter- book going to fly half, and Miller forward.

The game was most interesting | to watch and fast throughout. On the whole and having regard to the Navy's advantages in the later stages perhaps a draw would have been a fairer result. ·-
