THEATRE ROYAL,

"SECRETS."

Last night's presentation of play is long, for beside the threa "Secrets" was most successful. The acts there is the prologue and epilogue, but it is particularly en- tertaining and interesting the evening showed evident apprecia whole time. A good house last by Herbert Judson Holley, first-tion of the splendid efforts of the class petty-officer of the U.S.S, company.. "Huron,"

"Holley gave evidence to the effect that he dozed off in the vehicle after having a few drinks in the bar. He was awakened by hands going through his pockets, when he discovered the loss of his 1whom he lost sight of in Chater money. He gave chase to the coolie Road as the mad dodged between the pillars. However, he was not in a position to say definitely that the puller was the man who stole the money. After waiting by the side of the ricsha for some time, he SAW the coolle return and he had him arrested. Two other American petty-officers were with him when he hired the vehicle but they were not present when he awoke.
