BELGRADE, November 5.7 In consequence of the attack on Colonel Krastisch Serbian military attache at Sofia, who was fired on by a pistol without injury, Serbia has sent Bulgaria a 48-hour ultimatum demanding official apologies, the honouring of the Serbian flag at Sofia by a detachment of Bulgarian soldiers, a Bulgarian official enquiry, exemplary punishment of the guilty and submission of the question of an indemnity to the Court of International Justice."

LONDON, November 5. Large crowds testified to the public sympathy at Mr. Bonar Lay's funeral.. A short service took place first at St. Columba's Church of Scotland of which Mr. Bonar Law was a member. The coffin was placed on a catafalque at the head of the Church and covered with a Union Jack and mumerous wreaths, the sender's including members of the Cabinet, the French Government, dominion states. men and Mr. Lloyd George. The cortège then mctored to Westminster Abbey. The pallbearers, the Prince of Wales, Mr. Baldwin, Earl Balfour, Mr. Austern Chamberlain, the Speaker, Mr. Asquith, Sir Edward Carson, Lord Beaverbrook, Lord Fitzalan and Mr. Rainsy Macdo:iald, escorted the coffiu over the last part of the route. The distinguished assembly at the Abbey included the overseas premiers. The coffin, covered by a golden-broider. The joint committee, representing the principaled pall, was carried up the steps to the altar in employers and employees of organisations appoint ed as a result of the conference of the cotton in dustry, convened by the Lord Mayor of Manchester on October 5, was received by the President of the Board Trade.
