PROSPECTUS:
(a)-This Company has been formed principally for the purpose"
of building houses in the Colony of Hongkong with a view to meeting the great demand for housing accommodation which exists in the Colony at the present time.
(b.) In particular it is proposed to take advantage of the offer recently made by the Government for the grant of land for building purposes on the basis of the scheme explained by The Colonial Secretary at a Meeting of the Legislative Council in June, 1993.
The Promoters are in a position to state that they have.com- pleted negotiations for the acquisition from the Government of the plateau below "Jardine's Lookout," which is capable of accom- modating 160 to 200 semi-detached houses. The Promoters are also in treaty with the Government for numerous other sites in good localition.

The Prompters have already received about 2,000 applications from persons desiring to obtain the assistance of this Company in building homes for the applitanta.
The Promoters will also entertain, and, if thought advisable, take up any other schone or schemes which may be proposed by the Government for the acquisition of land for building and development.
(o.) The Company is also empowered by its Memoraridum of Association to undertake business of all kinds connected with the development of building areas.
(d.) The minimum subscription on which the Directora may proceed to allotment is 100,000 shares.
(6.)"No commission, or promotion money is being paid by the Company
The Company will pay the preliminary expenses of and incident to the formation and fosting of the Company down to the time when it becomes entitled to commence business, and the estimated amount thereol is $5,000.
(g.) FrimDERICK ELLIS will be the first Managing Director under a coutinct with the Company át a remuneration of 5 per cent. of the not profite of the Company.
(h), The Articles of Association provide that the qualification of a Director is to be the holding of 500 shares in the Company and that the remuneration of each of the Directors, is to be $1,000 per annum.

-LONDON, November 3 The Crown Prince of Sweden and Lady Louise Mountbatten were married in the Chapel Royal at St. James in the presence of the King and Queen, Queen Alexandra, the King of Sweden, Queen of Greece, Prince of Wales, Duke and Duchess of York, Princess Mary and Viscount Lascelles and other Royal and diplomatic guests. The Archbishop of Canterbury and Bishop of London officiated. The bride's brother, the Marquis of Milford Haven, gave the bride away. The chapel was radiant with white and gold costumes, and scarlet and blue uniforms glittering with orders and decora tions. The bride wore a gown of Indian silver gauze."
