LONDON, October 31. Rubber stocks in London have risen to 58.423 tons, owing to the fact that America at present is taking very litle rubber purchases in view of very heavy imports, totalling in all 180,000 tons in the first six months of the year. Well-informed. people estimate the world's production of rubber for the current year at 369,000 tons and the deeds of the world, except America, at 120,000 tons, so in order to establish equilibrium on this basis the total American consumption för 1923 must be 240,000 tons.
