fe. This Company has been formed principally for the purpose of building houses in the Colony of Hongkong with a view to geting the great demand for housing accommodation which exists in the --Colay at the present time.

The Promoters are in a position to stufe that they have com pleted negotiations for the acquisition from the Government of the phiteau Below Hardino's Lookout." which is capable of accom- modating 150 to 2009 semi-detached houses. The Promoters are also in treaty with the Government for numerous other sites in good localities.
The Promoters have already received about 2,000 applications from persons desiring to obtain the assistance of this Company in building hours for the applicants.
The Promoters will also entertain, and, if thought advisable, take up any other scheme or schemes which may be proposed by the Government for the acquisition of land for building and development.
(C) The Company is also empowered by its Memorandum of Association to undertake business of all kinds connected with the development of building areas.
(d) The minimum sabscription on which the Directors may proceed to aljolment is 100,000 shares.
(c.) No commission or promotion money is being paid by the Company.
(3) The Company will pay the preliminary expenses of and incident to the fortuation and floating of the Company down to the time when it becomes entitled to commence business, and tho estimated amount thereof is $5,000.
(9.) FREDERICH ELLIS will be the first Managing Director under a contract with the Company at a remuneration of 6 per cent. "of the net profits of the Company.
(h.) The Articles of Association provide that the qualification of a Director in to be the holding of 500 shares in the Company and that the remuneration of caeli of the Directors is to be $1,000- per annum.
