BERLIN, October 14. General Mueller, Commander of the Reichswehr in Saxony, has prohibited the formation of "pro- letarian centuries" and similar organisations on the ground that they are being used for the purpose of terrorising other sections of the population. The penalty is a fe of fifteen thousand gold marks. The order is a severe blow to the Saxon Socialist-Com- munist government which approved the formation of such bodies with a view to using them in case of necessity.

WARSAW, October 14. wijs now stated that, over two hundred were killed and five hundred seriously injured by the explosion in the citadel. Overtwo thousand tons of explosives were destroyed. The explosion is officially, attributed to foul play but there is a strong belief that careless fitting of fuses may have been the cause. Many houses in the neighbourhood of the fortress were destroyed and the military wireless station was extensively damaged. The explosion was heard fifty kilometres away. Relief funds for the familles of the victims are meeting with a gen erous response.
