SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 29'

Presideat and Mrs. Coolidge, minded by secret service men, arrived in Marion on a special train to attend the funeral services of Warren G. Harding.

Preceded by President's flag, body of Warren G. Harding being borne through capital on'im

artillery caisson, protected by aray, navy and marine Corps.

This is the last picture ever taken of the late President Warren G. Harding, snapped as he left his private cat in San Francisco on his way to the Palace Hotel, where he died, Though i and suffering intensely, the President smiled a wan smile of greetlag to the photographers.

The fig of the President of the United States, a blne emblem, bearing the seal of the nation, surrounded by four stars, flies over the entrance to the Hotel Willard, in F Street, Washingtor, the temporary White House, where. President and Mrs. Coolidge will live until it is convenient for Mrs. Harding to move her belongings from the real White House. While every other flag in America was at half-stuff for the death of President Harding, the President's flag was at topstuff.

He is the guard of United States Cavalry that escorted President Harding's body from the Palacs Hotel, San Francisco, where he died, to the railway station, on his final trip to Washington.

hardly able to answer the simplest questions and is frightfully under

hon ished and under developed.. Her stepmother, wan is alleged to have been responsible for her plight, has been arrested.
