SYDNEY, September 3.
Acting Premier Page has cabled the Japanese Premier conveying the heartfelt sympathy of the Commonwealth Government and people. The Pan Pacific Congress at its concluding sitting recorded ifs deepest sympathy with the Japanese delegates and their fellow citizens in the disaster.
FRENCH SYMPATHY.
PARIS, September 3. President Poincaré; through Reuter expressed profound sympathy with the Japanese people at the appalling disaster. The French public is deeply moved.
