Messrs P. A. Lapicque and Co, courteously informed the China Mail this morning that they are in receipt of a telegram from the liquidators of the firm to the effect that the first meeting of creditors will be held at Haiphong on August 21. The meeting is being called for the creditors to examine the proposition of settlement offered by the liquidators.
