The former Ministers of the Guechoff and Malinoff Cabinets have been released..
SERBIA ALARMED.

BALANCE SHEET PROFITS.
Reuter's Service to the China Mail.)
PARIS, June Ip During the hearing of the Banque Industrielle. case. Pernotte, former General Manager, replie ing to M. Doyen's reference to imprudently granted credits, declared that such credits had not been ex- tensive. The profits of the bank to December 31, 1919 had been exceeded by 32,000,000 francs what was shown in the balance sheet.
42
M. Doyen declared this did not constitute real profits, but only the reserve intended to meet fluctuations in exchange.
At the resumption of the Banque Industrielle case, the Doyen primarily attributed the failure of the bank to the world crisis of 1920, that the crash was duc less to faulty administration Ho declared
than the imprudence with which credits were granit- ed.]
