Here, on the Palm Beach sands are Edward T. Stotesbury, multi- millionaire buker, and his daughter, Mrs. John Kearsley Mitchell, with her daughter, Frances. It has been revealed that Mitchell, Stotesbury's son-in-law, was infatuated with Dorothy Keenan King, the model who was murdered in her New York apartment. He was the last man believed to have seen her alive. Mitchell was known to the model as "Marshall."

The framework here shown is of the 45-foot done being built for the Nickolaies Observatory, in Russia. It will house the greatest telescope in the world. The telescope itself is being built at Sir Howard Grubb's plant at St. Albans, Eagland, and will be placed on a revolving turret of steel, 45 feet in diameter. The 40-inch refracting telescope will be the largest in the world, adapted to astronomical photography. When completed the telescope will weigh 9 tons. It will be operated by electricity.
