18 SUSPECTS DETAINED

In connection with the wounding of Sergeant Dawse in Shing-Wong Street while searching suspects after an attempted armed robbery in Des Voeux Road on Thursday, night, the police paid visits to Elgin Street, Hollywood Road and Shing Wong Street and bave detained- eighteen persons suspected of be ing associated in the robbery or shooting.
