The crew of the United States destroyer "Edsell, now stationed at Smyrna, has adopted 100 orphan children in Constantinople. Money for their care is given from the sailors meagre pay, and the children at present are at an orphan camp, Dolma Bagtche, in Constantinople, under the care of Mrs. Mark Bristol, wife of the American Admiral in Turkish waters.
