Banken," Andersen's and Bergen's Kredit Bank, has decided to place its affairs under the public administration. in accordance with the new law dealing with state support for weak banks. No loss will be sustained by depositors or creditors.

. The capital of the bank will be written down from 28 to 10 million kroner. The development is expected for some time to have no serious con- sequences on Norwegian trade and commerce.

The Central Banken for Hargh has also been placed under public administration at its own re-

quest.
