TITLES FOR CHINESE GENERALS.
:
PEKING, April 21.
A mandate issued last night made numerous Kwangtung appointments and gave titles, to various generals, all of whom are either followers of General Chen Ching-ming or the former Inspector-General Lung Chi-kuang, or have hitherto been neutral in the present struggle.
It is evident that the object is to win them over to General Slien Hung-ying's side.
