The urgency of completing the championship matches in the H.K.C.C. tournament before the Chinese Olympiad team sails from Hongkong made it imperative that the remaining matches should be played off as soon as possible with the result that the final round in Į the Open Championship Singles. had to be played yesterday after- noon on a court, considerably affected by the rain and therefore very much on the soft side.
