PARIS, April 17.

17. The Minister for Agriculture, interylewed, outlined the Government's proposals dealing with agriculture. He announced that the Government would introduce a Bill during the present session reducing the assessment of agricultural land from a half to a quarter and that the Exchequer would grant 24 millions in England and Wales making up the difference which Sir Robert Sanders described as the biggest concession given to agriculture, for a established policy, namely, that of the "open" generation.
