Charged by many New Eng land members of the Episcopa! Church with breaking a rule of the Church by extending an in- vitation to a woman preacher to hold services in his church, in Boston. It is said no woman has ever been permitted to hald ser- vices before in un Episcopal Church, either in America, or Europe. The woman in question is the Rev. Miss A. Maude Boy don, Pastor of the Congregational City Temple, London. She is the guest in America of Mrs. John D. Rockefeller, Jr.,
William H. Anderson, for nine years head of the New York Stale Anti-Saloon League and one of the bitterest opponents of the "wete," faces serious charge made by a former financial soli- citor for the League, who asserté Anderson forced him to "split" his commissions; that Anderson drew $15,000 a year salary in- stead of the $10,000 he was en- titled to, and committed other financial irregularities. Anderson replied that the entire charge is a species of blackmail and extor tion" on the part of his enemies.
Frederick Otwell Anderson, son of William H. Anderson, head of the New York Anti- Saloon League, has been men- tioned in connection, with an in- vestigation made by students of Wesleyan College themselves into drinking. Anderson left college ot the time, but declared he in-. tended to return. From the
Anderson home came the state- ment that young Anderson was in no way connected with the drink- ing bout and was not intoxicated, as had been reported.

First pictures of the funeral of ex-King Constantine of Greece, who died in exile at Villa Igea, Palermo, Italy. The top picture shows the coffin, with the late monarch's crowa on top of it; being taken from the villa. The bottom picture' shows the arrival of the funeral procession at the pier, at Palermo, from which it was shipped to Naples for burial. An Italian guard of honour was provided, and Italian and Greek dignitaries were honorary pall bearers.
