Percy Stickney Grant, rector of the Protestant Episco- pal Church of the Ascension, Fifth Avenue, New York City, as a result of his refusal to recant his statement that Christ could not be held the equal of God and "to accept the faith of the Church as set forth in the Apostles' Creed," as demanded by Bishop William T.
