Two of them refused to enter but one acquiesced. He has not been. heard of since. One of the two that escaped informed the police and defendants were arrested. A week's remand was applied for on the instructions of Mr. W. Schofield of the S. C. A. for further investiga tion. First defendant had not been able to give a satisfactory account of his movements on the day in question.
