6 The Chairman ald:-Gentlemen,

As the report and statement of accounts have been in your hands for some time I will follow the nasal pro. cedure and, with your permission, take them as read. You will notice that the Bank's business has gained further improvement in 1922 especially in 8 regard to deposit building. Although the general eatalogs were not so 1 aubstantial as those of the pro 2 ceding year, yet, considering the 22 depressed condition of trade

well as the political and ecoial disturbances that have made the year 1922 su-nousually bad one, the result obtaiced is considered. very eatis factory. Apart from the 6 per cant dividend, as stipulated in the Articles of Association the Directors bare decided to pay a boans of 2 per cent. an each share of the Company and to add to be Restre Fund $300,000, bringing the total up to $500,000, which I hope will have the whole hearted support of the shareholders. The sale deposit boxes installed near. the middle of the year have afforded 31 exceptional facilities for the site keeping of valuable documents and jewellery, and I am glad to say they Of are finding good, favour with the 1 community. I now formally propres
