DEATH SENTENCE FOR PRISONERS.
JUDGE PRAISES POLICE,
Sentence of d-ath was passed by Mr. Justice Gompertz at the criminal arasi, os to-day upen the two men, Chu Kam and Li Shing-cheung, who were indicted for the murder of Detective Sergeant Sia Chuen in Wing Wo Street on September 29.
The Attorney General (the Hon. Mr. J. H. Kemp K. C.) prosecuted nud the prisoners were defonded by Mr. Campbell Prosser (in-tructed by Mr. II. C. Lee.)
