Mrs. Frances Lowe Corbit, aged 89, a friend of Abraham Lincoln, has filed suit for divorce in Chicago' against her husband, Mr. Elwood P. Corbit, an insurance broker, aged 70, whose career as an alleged Don Juan she- describes at great length.

Her own disillusionment after an "Intellectual marriage," cruelty, and domestic irregularities on the part of her husband, whom she accuses, of seeking to defraud her of £100,000, are alleged by the plaintiff as grounds

for, the divorce.

Mr. Corbit has been married six times, and his wife tells the court that he has convinced ber that the "mar riage ceremony is' bank' and meant no more than a handshake."
