LONDON, November 24. The first division of the new Parliament took place this afternoon when a motion by Mr. Bonar Law em powering the Government to take all the time of the Houve in the present session for Government business was carried by 299 to 135 votes.

The Labour members opposed the motion. Mr. Bamay Macdonald said the Labour members did not Abject to the quickest possible despatch of the Irish Bill,. but other questions, for example matters in connection with the Lausanne conference, might require discussion. LLOYD GEORGE NEUTRAL.

LONDON, November 24. In the Houes of Commons the Liberale voted with the Labour members against Mr. Bonar Law's motion. Some National Liberala supported the Government and others abstained. Mr. Lloyd George did not vote.
